New Delhi: IndianOil, the Energy of India has always been making efforts to educate customers about the safe and effective usage of LPG. Xtra Tej, the differentiated LPG product launched by IndianOil, which gives better flame temperature that results in approximately 5% savings in LPG usage.
To educate the Commercial customers about the benefits of Xtra Tej, a cooking competition was organised within renowned chefs having experience of 10-15 years of Hotels and Dhabhas of Jaipur at Hotel Ramada, Jaipur. The competition kitchens were provided with XtraTej LPG and the participants, which enabled participants to have hands on experience of the performance of Xtra Tej.
Sh. A.K. Panda, Executive Director & State Head, Rajasthan State Office graced the occasion in the august presence of Sh. Naresh Joshi, Sr. Asst. Director, FICCI, Jaipur along with other Senior Officials, Distributors, Delivery Boys and customers. The judges for the event were Chef Dr. Saurabh Sharma, (HACCP cert Chef, Author, Culinary Mentor, and Humanitarian), Chef Debashish Dey (Senior Faculty in Institute of Hotel Mgmt, Jaipur) and Chef Ravi Bisth (Sr Chef at JW Mariott, Jaipur).
While addressing the large audience present on the occasion, Sh. Panda emphasised on the benefits of Xtra Tej in industrial units and commercial setups. He explained the importance of better flame temperature and the savings, which result by the usage of Xtra Tej. He informed that it has been certified by various Certifying agencies that the usage of Xtra Tej results in savings of around 5%. This also helps in in lowering the cost of production which is a benefit to both the industry and end user. Sh Panda felicitated the winners of the competition.
Sharing their experiences about the competition the participating chefs said that in the present day in the Hospitality industry, it is very essential to give Quick service to the customers. By using Xtra Tej as the fuel during the competition they realised that the cooking time has reduced due to improved flame temperature. This, they felt could be used as an USP by them in their respective restaurants for quick preparation of dishes. They appreciated IndianOil for offering such a novel product, which is very helpful for their profession and Industry.
