Logix India 2024: Opens new vistas of opportunities for further enhancement of logistics ecosystem in the country.

New Delhi :- The 5th Edition of Logix India, a flagship logistics event organized by the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) with the support of Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India concluded successfully on 28th March 2024 in Mumbai. The valedictory session witnessed the presence of esteemed dignitaries and left unforgettable imprints in the mind of the key domestic and international logistics players and paved the way for future growth and development of this potential sector.

Shri Rakesh Kumar Mishra, Additonal DGFT, Government of India in his key note address congratulated FIEO for successfully organising the 5th Edition of Logix India and apprised that international trade in the current economic environment makes it imperative to have preventive action for sustainability and growth. He out lined the importance of quality and insurance in the international trade to protect the business interest and safe guard from the unforeseen challenges. He also suggested to try new ideas in the logistic sector and establish efficient processes to achieve the desired outcome and continuously improve on the systems.

In his opening remarks, Shri Sharad Kumar Saraf, Past President, FIEO mentioned that India, with its strategic geographical location, abundant resources, and burgeoning economy, holds immense potential to emerge as a prominent logistics hub on the global stage. He informed that India as a country holds a pivotal position in connecting East and West positions as a vital link in the global supply chain network and it is imperative to recognize the crucial role that logistics plays in facilitating trade and commerce, driving economic prosperity, and fostering international relations. He informed that the growing penetration of technology in logistics is playing an important role in reducing the logistics cost.

Shri Sristiraj Ambastha, Executive Director, Chairman cum Managing Director (Additional Charge), ECGC Ltd. in his address complimented FIEO for organising the 5th edition of Logix India and appreciated FIEO in building an exporter friendly ecosystem across the country. He informed both ECGC and FIEO are working together as partners in organising various seminars and interactive sessions for the benefit of export fraternity.

In his concluding remarks and vote of thanks, Shri Khalid Khan, Immediate Past Vice- President, FIEO expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, participants, partners and stakeholders for their contributions to the success of Logix India 2024. He mentioned that one of the key objectives of Logix India has been to promote India as a preferred destination for logistics services and investment. Through showcasing the country’s strengths, capabilities, and potential in logistics, the event fostered partnerships, knowledge sharing, and investment and contributed to the overall growth and resilience of India’s economy, enabling it to better integrate into global value chains and capitalize on emerging opportunities in the global marketplace.

The dignitaries during the valedictory session also unveiled the 6th Edition of Logix India with expectation of much larger participation from domestic and international stake holders planned to be held next year.

The 5th Edition of Logix India 2024 served as a catalyst to India’s rejuvenation as a top logistics hub. By bringing together key stakeholders, thought leaders, and policymakers from across the globe, this edition of Logix India provided a platform for meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and innovation. Through insightful discussions, exchange of ideas, and showcasing of cutting-edge technologies and best practices, Logix India empowered India to reclaim its position as a preferred destination for logistics and international trade. With over 100 international delegates from around 30 countries the Logix India 2024 proved to be a key contributor in immensely developing India’s Logistics sector.
