Pune, November 6, 2025: India’s engineering sector takes center stage at SUBCONTRACT INDIA 2025 — a three-day engineering showcase being held from November 6–8 in Pune, Maharashtra’s industrial powerhouse and India’s second-largest automobile manufacturing hub.
The event features over 100 Indian engineering exhibitors displaying nearly 50 engineering products across seven key verticals — Industry Supplies and Services, Automobile, Oil & Gas, Industrial Machinery, Construction and Mining, Electricals, and Medical Devices.
With participation from 10 foreign delegates representing the USA, Canada, Cameroon, and Burkina Faso, over 5,000 visitors, and nine high-impact knowledge sessions featuring 20 industry experts from leading organizations like GAIL, Indian Oil, GeM, TATA Motors, Toyota, Skoda, NID, BIS, and Bharat Forge, the event marks Pune’s first integrated engineering show.
Shri Deependra Singh Kushwah, IAS, Development Commissioner of Industries, Government of Maharashtra, highlighted that “Engineering remains one of India’s largest industrial sectors, contributing significantly to employment and GDP. EEPC India’s initiative to bring domestic and global stakeholders together will deepen industrial collaboration.”
Guests of Honour included Shri B.N. Vishwas, Joint Director General of Foreign Trade, Pune, and Smt. Chitra Raste, Regional Head, EXIM Bank, Pune.
Shri Landge emphasized Maharashtra’s leadership in “driving India’s journey toward becoming a global hub for engineering, manufacturing, and technology-led growth.”
Shri Vishwas lauded EEPC India for “taking the Indian engineering sector to the world stage,” while Smt. Raste noted that such initiatives “offer MSMEs a vital window for international market access and enhanced visibility.”
Mr. Anoop Marwaha, Regional Chairman (Western Region), EEPC India, reaffirmed “the shared commitment to promoting innovation, sustainability, and inclusive growth through global partnerships in subcontracting and engineering services.”
Mr. Rakesh Shah, Past Chairman and Chairman of the Trade Promotions Committee, EEPC India, revealed that “Pune’s total exports reached INR 1,09,148 crore in FY 2023–24 — accounting for nearly 20% of Maharashtra’s total exports — while securing investments worth INR 16,651.48 crore, making it a strategic hub for the Subcontracting Show.”
Delivering the vote of thanks, Shri Rohinton Engineer, Dy Regional Chairman (WR), EEPC India, stressed that subcontracting plays a vital role in boosting efficiency and quality in the engineering industry. “Such shows enhance business credibility, enable industry validation, and open new avenues for expansion,” he concluded.
